Ha so relatable, I was just telling a friend this morning that even though I’m 20+ months postpartum I still pee when I sneeze and can’t keep tampons in. Pelvic floor health is so rarely talked about. Even though I was aware of exercises like kegels to prepare for labour I had no idea I would need to keep doing these exercises forever….
Thank you for sharing this! It is so sad that incontinence is just seen as part of motherhood and treated like some warped punchline. I self referred for pelvic physio on the NHS and it was a life saver after my birth!

In lots of European countries pelvic floor care is an integral part of postpartum healthcare. Doesn't surprise me Ireland is behind there really 🤦
